Management

  • Winter season schedule: morning 09.00 -12.00 afternoon 15.00- 21.00 Summer season schedule:

  • You can buy our own wine, adapters, vape, gushes, salt, pepper, oil, vinegar, swimming caps and goggles.
  • Soccer balls, tennis rackets and balls, table tennis rackets and balls are available
  • If not included in your rate, you can book our Breakfast (8:30-10:00 a.m.) : During the Summer Season (April – October) immersed in the tranquility in the courtyard garden of Villa Poggio Armiano, a rich and tasty buffet with freshly baked brioches and bread, fresh fruit, cold cuts, cheeses and local products awaits you. During the Winter Season (November – March) our Breakfast Basket awaits you to be eaten directly in the comfort of your apartment. Fragrant croissants and freshly baked bread are also available in the morning. If not included in the rate you can purchase it for 10.00 €/night per person. Drinks and snacks are always available in vending machines located in common areas.
  • You can request your own extra cleaning of the apartment for an additional fee of 20 euros (Apartment cleaning with change of towels and sheets is provided after 7 nights).
  • In case you have not registered all household members and/or all persons occupying the apartment you can go to the reception or send document photos by email to info@fattoriailmilione.it specifying the name of the apartment. Failure to do so, may be sanctioned by the local police headquarters.

  • Check Out is by 10 a.m. on the day of departure and keys must be handed in at the Reception. In case of departures before the opening of the Reception, the keys should be left inside the Basket placed on the small wall near the Reception entrance door.
  • The Kitchen or kitchenette should be left tidy and clean, so please make arrangements before your departure or notify us at the time of your departure (if you have not been able to make arrangements, the expected surcharge is €30).
  • We kindly ask you to settle any extras the day before departure.
  • On the day of departure, you can linger by the pool after vacating the apartment. ??
  • Late Check Out: if it is YOUR need to leave the apartment after the usual time, you can check with the reception for availability in advance. The cost of late check out (by 7 p.m.) is 50 euros.

There are free, unattended Parking Areas near your apartment. We kindly ask that you park so as not to obstruct the maneuvers of other Guests and respect the appropriate signs.

  • WI-FI service is available inside your apartment, in the swimming pool, in the breakfast room, in the inner courtyard of the villa, in the living room of the villa, in the area in front of the reception, in the gymnasium, and in the village of I Rossi.
  • To connect select the MILLIONWIFI network and the password is farmmillion
  • Access is free and lapses after 60 minutes of inactivity for which you will need to reconnect.

  • Vending machines with water, drinks, sweet and savory snacks, hot tea, and coffee are located at the entrance to the living room of Villa Poggio Arniano, by the pool, and at the entrance to the I Rossi complex.
  • The vending machines work only with coins and give change.
  • Please remember to pick up one item at a time.

We respect the Environment !

  • In your apartment is the container for wet waste. There are containers for plastic/paper/glass/differentiated waste in the common areas and near your apartment.
  • At the entrance to the facility are the main containers for paper/plastic/glass/organic/differentiated waste collection.
  • We kindly ask you not to leave garbage of any kind around the facility, out of respect for the environment and especially for the wild animals living there.

Your pet friends are welcome !

Only a small cleaning fee of €8 per day is required.

We kindly ask that small and simple rules be followed in respect of all Guests.
Please note that free-roaming wild animals live on the estate, children run, and other dogs may be present.

  • should always be kept on a leash
  • the needs of your friends should always be collected with the appropriate bags
  • in the pool area are not allowed to enter
  • in the apartment can not climb on top of sofas and beds
  • not allowed in the breakfast room

However, politeness and common sense always lead the way in respecting those who will occupy the apartment after you, so we ask you to promptly report any damage done by your four-legged friends.

Life on the Farm

Everything you can do inside the facility : freedom takes center stage

All apartments are surrounded by greenery. Nightly pest control is periodically carried out against common and tiger insects and mosquitoes. In case it is carried out during your stay you will be promptly notified. Walking through the dirt lanes you will find depending on the season of your stay, colorful flowers, fruit trees such as walnuts, figs, blackberries, pears, almonds, mulberries, and plums. Wild animals such as deer, wild boar, squirrels, and hares live in total freedom within the estate.
Please respect their environment: don’t feed them; don’t pick up flowers or tear up plants; don’t leave any food waste lying around; don’t throw papers, cigarettes, plastic, etc. on the ground

Barbecue areas are available within the courtyard of Villa Poggio Arniano and in the I Rossi complex.
You can cook food on the grill by providing your own wood and charcoal. At the end of the barbecue make sure that there are no burning embers left and no food remains (please remember that there are free-roaming animals living inside the estate), thinking of those who will come after you!

  • The gym is located in front of the pool with hours from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. We kindly ask that you wipe each tool with the material provided after using it and always use a towel to lean on the tools.
    Access to minors is allowed only in the presence of parents (Management disclaims any responsibility for non-compliance and improper use of equipment).
  • Thanks to the 50-hectare private park, open-air sports activities can be practiced on the streets that connect the different villages, ascents and descents, walks and runs among the vineyards and olive trees.
  • Guests have access to an outdoor synthetic grass tennis court and soccer field. Balls, tennis rackets and balls are available at the reception. We kindly ask for assistance from Reception to adjust or remove the tennis net.
  • Play area with swings in front of the breakfast room in the villa garden and pool area
  • Nature trail with tools near the tennis court and Borgo de I Rossi

In the old Pergole farmhouse is our externally run Restaurant L’Osteria del Milione with a magnificent panoramic outdoor terrace overlooking the Duomo. Stefano and his staff will amaze your palate with traditional Tuscan recipes all prepared with the finest ingredients. During summer evenings, a large outdoor brazier is lit every evening for grilled food.

  • Open Tuesday through Sunday for dinner from 7:30 p.m. to 10 p.m.; Weekends and Holidays also for lunch from 12:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m.
  • Reservation recommended at num +39 055.2047922 communicating the name of the apartment and your last name, pointing out that you are Guests of the farmhouse.
  • Possibility of take-away food, to enjoy excellent Tuscan dishes in the total tranquility of your own apartment.

Our swimming pool is open during the summer season from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. (it is forbidden to enter after sunset). As it is surrounded by mature trees and completely surrounded by greenery, it always offers areas of sun and shade.

Sunbeds, umbrellas and tables are available to you but cannot be reserved in advance and must be left unused (Management reserves the right to remove any items left unattended)
Minors must always be accompanied by an adult (Management disclaims any responsibility for non-compliance )
The pool has fully equipped bathrooms also with hot water shower.
We kindly ask you to

  • Do not consume food and drink or smoke in water
  • Do not bring glass containers, bottles or glasses
  • always take a shower before entering the water
  • Always place food waste in the appropriate containers to safeguard wildlife living in total freedom within the estate
  • do not bring 4-legged friends inside the pool area
  • Occupy the sunbeds only when you are inside the pool area (any towels or other unattended items will be removed)
  • don’t climb with your shoes on top of the cribs
  • don’t play with life jackets, they are rescue tools
  • Do not listen to loud music in respect of other Guests

If you have not reserved breakfast at the time of confirming your stay, you can do so by contacting Reception for an additional charge of 10 euros per person per day (to be reserved at least one day in advance).

Simply by strolling around the estate you can catch a glimpse of authentic works by artists who have left their mark of talent. Semi-hidden sculptures, authentic paintings, and unique details on the exterior and interior of the apartments embellish every corner of the estate and lend an extra touch of charm to the homes’ furnishings. The original owner, the Argentiere Brandimarte, hosted young artists who came to Florence for studies and, here, left their signatures through authentic works. Respect the authentic signs of history.

The location of the Apartments

Our complex is structured into 4 groups of apartments:

  • The Villa of Poggio Arniano, with its elegant atmosphere, is the oldest nucleus of our estate; the reception, breakfast room, reading lounge, an indoor garden and the Piazzale Limoni overlooking the surrounding hills are located there.
  • The hamlet of I Rossi is a rustic stone complex with a large inner courtyard and gardens, consisting of apartments for up to 6 people where silence and above all privacy reign.
  • La Stecca, consisting of only two-room apartments for 2/3 people has the advantage of being opposite the pool.
  • Le Pergole is an old farmhouse perched on the highest hillock of the estate with breathtaking views of Florence to the horizon of the hill of Fiesole. L’Osteria del Milione Restaurant is also located here.
